Good Morning. Well, we said our goodbyes to Joyce and her sister Barb and left Crestview, FL about 3:00 yesterday afternoon and made it to Birmingham South campground by about 7:45. I hooked up electric and cable tv first so Barb could watch Idol. PRIORITIES! We went to bed before 10:00 CST and that's when it started. We had a strong thunderstorm shortly thereafter and it got quite severe with heavy rain and much lightning. I must admit, I was getting a bit concerned and Barb was downright scared. More thunderstorms are predicted for today. Give us a break!
We'll be hooking up with Fred and Pat later today and look forward to seeing them again.
We had lunch with Fred and Pat and then went back to their house to visit awhile. We will meet them for lunch tomorrow before we get back on the road heading for Nashville. Looks like we will not be getting any severe weather tonight. That will make Barb very happy.
